Jose Almonte reports the Miami GP 2025 (12/11/2025)
The 2025 Miami Grand Prix is in the books and our team did great.
Starting with our new driver Michael Haley who debuted with the Serpet SRX8 GT R car last month.
Haley finished 2nd in a difficult GT Nitro class.
Jose Almonte qualified 2nd and finiahed 4th after battling an early race incident.
Claude Neptune Jr finished 6th debuting with the new SRX8 GT R car.
Gabe Acosta finished 8th.
Juwan Hunter finished 12th after having to retire the car with engine problems.

2025 Speedyrc RCRA Australian IC GT National Champion (10/28/2025)
Considering the luck I’ve had at some events this year, and even throughout this one, I honestly didn’t expect to be walking away with the National title. From an excellent start in practice to battling gremlins through qualifying and the semi-finals, the weekend was anything but smooth. But when everything finally came together, I managed to bring home the 2025 SpeedyRC RCRA Australian IC GT National Championship!
When the setup clicked, the Serpent SRX8 GTR was simply a dream to drive. Compared to the SRX8 GT ’23, the new GTR is on a completely different level. The car offered noticeably more on-power and off-power steering, exactly what was needed to tackle the high-camber and technical sections of England Park Raceway. I could stay on throttle longer through the dips, twists, and turns that define corners 1 through 3, a section that can easily make or break your lap. It was genuinely impressive to feel a GT perform with agility somewhat similar to that of a Serpent 990 EVO or any 1/8th on-road car in that part of the track.
